“Understand the language of animals and you will know the voice of God.” ~  Jettie York

Beaver Dam is a beautiful, state of the art riding facility located on the quiet country back roads of Horry County, South Carolina. All breeds are welcome and all disciplines are honored.  It doesn't matter what tack you use, your horse's care always comes first.  Built on land that was once tobacco and cotton fields, our barn is tucked away from the highway for serenity and safety, but close enough to the major arteries to South Carolina’s glorious coast. Beaver Dam is less than thirty minutes drive from Myrtle Beach and all of the surrounding communities of the Grand Strand.

Sprawled over 45 acres of land that includes Bermuda/millet seeded pastures, pine forests and a lake, Beaver Dam has everything the discriminating equestrian needs: ample riding area, safe and well-engineered facilities, and staff of dedicated employees whose whole mission is to take care of the animals we love. Beaver Dam employees are not just workers, we are Beaver Dam boarders and students as well. This barn is our home.

Our mission is to provide the best care possible to our equine friends, as well as educate the rider to empathetic horsemanship. We want to encourage a bond between horse and rider. We believe in simplistic and natural horse care, conscientious and preventative treatment, and promoting the over all well being of the horse. You will find no other boarding, lesson, and training facility like us.

So take a few minutes to browse our site. We guarantee, Beaver Dam is the home for your horse that you’ve been searching for.
